SQUID INK is a 10 - month administrative program for performing artists who seek guidance in business practices, fundraising strategies and marketing tools to help them advance professionally. Through monthly training sessions, we will host guest speakers and work through best practices for essential and relevant topics within the business of your art. You will have the chance to share your experiences and learn from others through small, collaborative group projects, real-world opportunities to practice what you've learned and one-to-one sessions with SQUID staff. SQUID INK provides you practical results and tools you can carry forward, including a completed grant application for state funding, a production/marketing plan, a professional press release, a budget and a skeleton for a successful fundraising campaign.
